In Episode 3 of ‘The Chosen’ Jesus’ followers try to understand His mission and manage their own expectations of what He came to do. As Christians living in the 21st Century we have the advantage of hindsight, however, we too can miss the point of Jesus‘ mission and confuse our agenda with His agenda.
Today we’re going to study the verse that inspired episode three and see if we, like Jesus’ first followers, can discern the reason for His coming.
