Many of us were probably forced to memorize this prayer in a religious context. But in His prayer, Jesus invites us into a relationship with a loving Father! It just so happens our Father is the King of the Universe, and acknowledging His majesty as well as His intimacy reorients our hearts, shifting prayer from self-centered requests to reverent worship. A kingdom lifestyle starts by knowing who God is.
