We Raised $2100 for a Rescue Center in the USA!

The 2019 ZOE Rescue Walk brought together 27 volunteers and brought in about 80 walkers to raise awareness and funds (over $2100!) for Zoe’s work in the fight against human trafficking and victim care.

ZOE Rescue Walk 2019 Participants

This is Hawaii’s 2nd year as a satellite walk. All proceeds will be going to launching the Zoe Rescue Center in LA, which is the first property on US soil.

In fact, Zoe distributed soil that was taken from the groundbreaking and placed in glass vials. Walkers were given an opportunity to pray for the launch: protection, bringing provision, helping with the healing of broken souls, support for the staff and volunteers in the center.

This year Chris Young and 8 other brothers and sisters in Christ from Hawaii served on the Short Mission Team this past August. The members included Ron and Cissy Boyer’s family: Bill (Cissy’s brother) and Naomi Chung, along with their two daughters Dyllan and Sydney, and Cissy’s father. They came to help volunteer and take part in walking.

Thank you to all the participants and volunteers who helped raise $2100 for this worthy cause.
