The Modern Church has placed a disproportionate emphasis on knowing God’s Word. Before you get your torches and pitchforks, we whole-heartedly agree that every believer should know and love the Word of God. Where we fall short is in the actual living of God’s Word. That feels more optional in many Churches. But the Bible uses powerful imagery to communicate a heavy reality – there is only one way that leads to life. It’s God’s Way or the highway.
